Two different winners in the races at Circuit Zolder

- Third and fourth round of the Porsche Endurance Trophy for Belgium Racing and Red Ant Racing

- Red Ant Racing also successful in the competition with the Porsche Cayman

ZOLDER. The third and fourth rounds of the Porsche Endurance Trophy in Zolder resulted in very nice motorsport and several winners. On Saturday, Dylan Derdaele and Nicolas Saelens took the win in the Belgium Racing Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, while on Sunday Red Ant Racing crossed the line first. Father Bert and his sons Yannick and Ayrton Redant were the first to touch after 125 minutes. The next race of the Porsche Endurance Trophy is on the calendar on 9 and 10 October, also at Circuit Zolder.

Lap times that were close together and small differences at the finish: here's the summary of the first race of the weekend in Zolder. The victory was for the third consecutive time this season for Belgium Racing, with the duo Nicolas Saelens and Dylan Derdaele, with behind them Jan Lauryssen in the Porsche of Q1 Trackracing/EMG Motorsport and the Red Ant Porsche 992 of the Redant family. With just five seconds between the silver and the bronze, it was once again shown how close Porsche's endurance races are. Belgium Racing also took fourth and fifth place, with Koen Wauters and Kris Wauters in fourth and Glenn Paenen, Jan Ooms and Marc Goossens in fifth. NGT, which descended to Zolder with Stijn Lowette and Stef Van Campenhout crossed the line in sixth place. All the Porsche 911s that started passed the finish line flawlessly, further proof of the reliability of the German brand when it comes to endurance racing.

Series are beautiful, but in the end they always come to an end and that also applies to that wonderful series of victories by Patric Derdaele's team. Bert and his sons Yannick and Ayrton Redant were the first this season to keep the team from Lommel from winning the Porsche Endurance Trophy and they did so after a solid race on the Limburg asphalt. In the end they won well ahead of the Belgium Racing cars with Dylan Derdaele and Nicolas Saelens in second place and Koen Wauters and Kris Wauters in third place. Stijn Lowette and Stef Van Campenhout crossed the line in fourth place, ahead of Glenn Paenen, Jan Ooms and Marc Goossens.

Red Ant Racing twice more

That was not all for Red Ant Racing, which also took the two victories in the competition between the various Porsche Cayman. Sven Van Laere, Davy Vandekerckhove and Jimmy De Breucker did it on both Saturday and Sunday, once for Q1 Trackracing/EMG Motorsport with Didier Rousseau and Nicolas Vandierendonck and then for Sparx Group with Gregory Stevens and Frank Stevens.

See you now early October for the next Porsche Endurance Trophy race!
