Belgium Racing Team Levels the Score in the Ardennes with Victory in the Porsche Endurance Trophy Benelux

  • Race win for Dylan Derdaele and Jan Lauryssen in round two of the season

  • Next race set for July 4–5, again at Spa-Francorchamps

Spa-Francorchamps, June 1, 2025 — Dylan Derdaele and Jan Lauryssen claimed victory in the second round of the 2025 Porsche Endurance Trophy Benelux, driving the Belgium Racing Team Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (Type 992). After a thrilling and closely contested race, the duo managed to edge out the winners of the season opener—D’Ieteren Luxury Performance by NGT, with Cédric Wauters and Glenn Van Parijs—by just a few seconds.

The race began with Cédric Wauters on pole for D’Ieteren Luxury Performance by NGT, engaging in a fierce battle with Dylan Derdaele, who swiftly took the lead. Strategic pit stops and a strong stint by Glenn Van Parijs nearly turned the tide in D’Ieteren’s favor, but an unexpected third pit stop ultimately cost them the win. Derdaele and Lauryssen seized the opportunity and crossed the finish line just ahead.

“What a race—it stayed tense right until the end,” said Dylan Derdaele on the podium at Spa-Francorchamps. “But I believe we earned this win. The score is now 1-1, and we’re looking forward to the rest of the season.”

MM Racing secured a well-deserved third place after an impressive drive by brothers Mick, Steve, and Tom Meurrens, continuing their steady progress this season. They prevailed in the battle for the final podium spot against Russell Racing by Art Racing I Pitstream, piloted by Christoff Corten and Jamie Morrow.

Once again, Porsche dominated the Belcar Endurance Championship podium—the national endurance series—claiming all top three positions.

Victory in the GTS class of the Belcar Championship went to Juna-Jane De Keersmaecker and Benjamin De Cock in the JDK by NGT Porsche Cayman GT4 RS.

The Porsche Endurance Trophy Benelux will now take a one-month break before returning to Spa-Francorchamps for the third round of the season on Friday, July 4, and Saturday, July 5.
